Grace Simmons is the owner and illustrator of The Purple Pinecone. She lives in Tipton, Indiana on a small farm with her son and husband. Her "personal petting zoo" is made of Lefty & Pam (cats), Frank & Mabel (dogs), Boogers (pig), and Nacho, Taco, Beans, Cheese, & Rice (goats). When Grace isn't tending to her family or critters, she enjoys antiquing and watching tv and movies at home.
